Watercolor Workshop: Intro to Painting Landscapes with Jennifer Peart

Embark on a captivating journey into the world of watercolor with our "Intro to Painting Landscapes" workshop. Perfect for beginners eager to explore the basics, this workshop covers exciting techniques and textures unique to the medium. Participants will delve into watercolor vocabulary, learning essential color-mixing skills along the way. By the end of the workshop, each guest will have created three mini landscape paintings, showcasing newfound skills and creativity. While designed with beginners in mind, all skill levels are welcome to join this artistic adventure. Quality tools and supplies will be provided for use during the workshop, but feel free to bring your favorite watercolor materials to personalize your experience. Unlock the wonders of watercolor painting while sipping on world-class wine. I cannot wait to see you there!

We are so fortunate to be surrounded by lush oak trees, scenic foliage, rolling vineyards, and wildflowers. This landscape offers an especially inspiring setting for all artists, especially landscape painters and nature journalers. My classes are not just art classes, nor are they your average paint-and-sip event. We are deepening our connection to the land, to this special place rich in biodiversity.  I aim to offer Andis Wines guests the opportunity to connect with nature as well as their creativity - all while enjoying the world-class wines your winery has to offer. 

Class Details:

Each class will offer an intimate and exclusive experience, designed to provide participants with the highest level of artistic enrichment.

The duration of each class is estimated to be about 2.5 hours allowing participants to fully engage in the artistic process and take their time enjoying the scenery and wine.

All necessary class materials will be thoughtfully provided by the instructor. This includes water, cups, small paint palettes, premium-quality paint, brushes, paper towels, reference materials, pencils, erasers, etc.

Answer questions and provide some informal exploration time for guests to experiment with a variety of high-quality art materials. 

Class participants will have the pleasure of taking home a freshly painted watercolor page(s) created during the classes.

The dynamic duo of Three Fish Studio has been making iconic California-inspired artwork since 2006.

In a studio located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and a gallery in Amador City, CA, husband and wife artists Eric Rewitzer and Annie Galvin collaborate, share creative ideas and create art designed to make people happy.

ANNIE GALVIN - A natural daydreamer and doodler, Annie’s paintings and collages feature bold colors, Californian scenery and a big brushstroke of whimsy.

ERIC REWITZER - Eric creates his intricate depictions of both urban and natural environments in woodcut and linocut prints. 

This event promises not only a glimpse into the artistic process but also an opportunity to connect with the artists themselves. Immerse yourself in the world of Eric Rewitzer and Annie Galvin, where creativity and camaraderie blend seamlessly, offering a unique and enriching experience for art and wine enthusiasts alike.
